Glass

In the production of PVC and Aluminium joinery, glass plays an important role, as the total area of the glass in the window makes up about 65%. The glass used is known as double glazed glass, or more popularly known as vacuum glass.

Double glazed insulating glass; which is made up of two or more sheets of glass, interconnected around the edges by a combination of rubber and aluminium, stainless still or plastic strips. This connection must achieve a seamless and long lasting seal, that does not come up to the entrance of air and moisture in between.

Even though, there are several types of insulating glass that can differ among themselves by the quality or degree of thermal and sound insulation – the level of energy savings and noise reduction. Insulating glass reduces the heat exchange between two areas, significantly contributing to energy saving heating and air-conditioning. Even if the same production technology, there are several types of insulating glass that can differ among themselves in the quality or degree of thermal and sound insulation - the level of energy savings and noise reduction.

How much is joinery is going to keep temperature in the room during winter or summer time ( in the winter heat and in the summer cool ) will deepend on glass quality. Other words, type of insulated glass that you chose will be main player in energy efficiency.

The most commonly used thermo insulation glasses:

  • FLOAT: glass is used primarily in the production of the double glazed glass – usually transparent glass, without optical refraction
  • LOW EMISSION Glass: glass that contains low emission film, in order to increase the thermal insulation
  • CLIMA GUARD SOLAR: also known as four seasons – in winter it keeps the warmth, and in summer it keeps the freshness of your space.
  • PARSOL: glass that’s stained in masses, and improves solar characteristics
  • STOPSOL: glass obtained by the pyrolytic process, with enhanced solar characteristics
  • ORNAMENT glass: with lowered visibility through works to reduce transparency and increase aesthetic effect.

Except glass above mentioned, which is used in glassing windows and doors, you can also find in offer glass fence or shower cubicles which are mostly made of somewhat thicker glass, that is in most cases tempered.
